About three weeks ago Korea's former president, Roh, Mu-hyn passed away falling from a steep rock.
The government investigators concluded it as a suicide within one day without protecting evidences, even Mr. Roh's body; he was burnt to ash right after the death.
On his funeral more than 5 millions of South Korean people joined the ceremony, cried , and got
angry for him; They knew from heart that who killed him.
On June 9, there was a huge demonstration against the current president, Lee, Myung-park.
In the end of it, political policemen and soldiers from the government smashed demonstrators who were dismissing with clubs and armors which can kill a person.
Current government and president have blamed of lots of mistakes and reckless policies which
have not considered Korean people even though they've been protested and demonstrated peacefully, making a million people join demonstrations last year about this time.
Current president shut down the door of conversation with North Korea and did not keep promise to
North Korea which had been made before he grabbed the power. As the result, North Korea threatened to South Korea and World, they would make nuke again; and they did.
That violent and unlawful president Lee, Myung-Pak is coming to U.S. to talk with Mr. Obama.
My country has more than 60 years of struggle to achieve real democracy and equality through
numerous unkwon people's death and sacrifice against illegal military regimes and unlawful dictators.
At last we, Koreans achieved democracy and we elected our own presidents; one of them is
the interviewee, Kim, Dae-jung, former president and Nobel peace prize winner. The other one is also
the former president, Roh, Mu-hyun, who, I think, was assassined by the current president and his political group. In their presidency, South Korea developed Skyrocketingly overcoming IMF, which means a country's bankcrupcy. And lots of welfare policies and health reforms had been carried out.
I've witnessed that only true democracy can lead people to live healthy and let them achieve their wellbeing. I do not want my country to go back the dark-era of violent dictators who just seek their own power and wealth.
These days, I've felt shameful on not doing anything, watching severe unjustice in Korean society.
This is a shameful reality of my country. But I want you guys to know that
Korean people will not surrender. They will resist and change this illicit, violent situation; they will.
Your understanding and support for my people may help them, even though it is small and unvisible.
One thing that you can help us is not buying Samsung goods made by Samsung such as
cellular phones, TVs, computer monitors, refrigerators, and so on. The owner is corrupted, supporting the current President, not paying taxes, and exploiting employees. Just say like this to retailers, "Samsung's owner is against democracy and exploiting employees, so I don't buy it," or write this on customer reviews. And please forward this mail anybody you know.
I am sorry for this uncomfortable message, but I wish some of you understand me and Korean people.
The war will not be long.
Thank you.
